Synopsis
The Bladebreakers are on a well deserved vacation. But, a hyperactive kid named Daichi continues to pursue Tyson for a rematch after his defeat in the Beyblade World Championships. The Bladebreakers' vacation eventually takes a turn for the worst once they encounter mysterious beybladers who claim to be the Dark Spirits sealed inside a secret temple. With Daichi under their control, the Shadow Bladers seek to destroy the world with the Dark Bit Beasts that manipulate them. Together, can Tyson, Max, Ray, and Kai save Daichi...AND the entire world?!

After winning the World Beyblade Tournament, Tyson is challenged by Daichi, a Beyblader who, before his father passed away a year ago, made a promise that he would one day become the Beyblade Champion. Tyson accepts the challenge but Daichi is defeated, and while Daichi wants a rematch Tyson declines and leaves. While Tyson hopes to have gotten rid of Daichi, when and the other Bladebreakers (Kai, Max, Ray, Kenny and Hilary) are confronted by the Beyblader during a vacation and Tyson once again refuses a rematch.When Daichi confronts Tyson, yet again, during a fireworks display that evening, Tyson escapes to the cemetery but Daichi follows him, only to pass out in fright. Tyson brings Daichi back to his house to recover but when he wakes up the next morning he is still demanding a rematch. Later that day, the Bladebreakers (and Daichi) head down to the beach, but when Tyson, Daichi and Hilary hire a boat and take it out to sea, the two friends discover that Daichi cannot swim.
As Tyson makes the most of his Daichi-free swim, Hilary learns why Daichi is so determined to defeat Tyson. Hearing this, Tyson decides that he should give Daichi a second chance after all, but as their Beybattle begins a mysterious man directs their boat towards a strange island. Tyson jumps out of the boat, but Daichi is unable to escape and finds himself drawn to the island. Determined to help Daichi, Tyson and the others head to the island themselves and discover Daichi and the mysterious man inside an old temple.
Realising that something is wrong, Tyson tries to stop Daichi using the only method he knows, Beybattling, however Dragoon is defeated by Daichi's Bit Beast, Gaia Dragoon. With Tyson defeated, the temple begins to fall apart, but as the other Bladebreakers leave Tyson refuses to abandon Dragoon. Returning to find his Beyblade, Tyson hears Dragoon calling out to him and discovers that Daichi and the mysterious man are going to destroy the world if they aren't stopped.
Leaving the temple to meet up with the others, Tyson and the rest of the Bladebreakers discover that the mysterious man is one of a number of dark spirits sealed within the temple who have now been freed. As a battle between the Bladebreakers's light Bit Beasts and their opponents' dark Bit Beasts begins, Tyson tries to get Daichi to break free of the control of the mysterious dark spirits. Although Daichi finds it hard to resist, he eventually breaks free of their control and the Light Bladers are victorious.
The next day, Tyson prepares to return to Tokyo but before he can leave he is challenged by Daichi to finish their rematch. However as he pursues Tyson, who is by now on the boat back to Tokyo, he falls into the sea and is quickly more concerned with not drowning.
